The Effie Awards celebrate the work that proves creativity can deliver real business impact.
For the 2023 and 2024 Effie UK Awards, be-good was tasked with creating an experience that felt worthy of that standard.
The Brief
Across both years, the ambition was simple: celebrate the very best in marketing effectiveness in a way that felt energetic, premium and memorable.
The events needed to bring together more than 200 guests, showcase the winning work and create a genuine sense of occasion, while working within tight budgets and making every element earn its place.
The Challenge
Awards events can easily become predictable.
A stage. A screen. A running order. A room full of people waiting for the next name to be called.
We wanted the Effie UK Awards to feel different.
The challenge was to create a celebration that reflected the quality of the work being recognised, while keeping the experience moving, the room engaged and the energy high from start to finish.
Our Thinking
Recognition matters most when it feels shared.
So we designed the experience around the moments between the awards themselves: the anticipation, the reactions, the conversations, the pride and the sense of being part of something bigger than a single trophy.
Screen content, music and interactive entertainment were all used to build pace and personality, while the overall experience was designed to make the room feel connected to the work and to each other.
The best awards nights do more than announce winners. They create a collective moment of recognition.

The Outcome
Across both events, be-good created a vibrant, seamless celebration of marketing effectiveness that felt as considered as the work on stage.
Client feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with particular praise for the organisation, energy and overall experience.
For the winners, it was a night of recognition.
For everyone in the room, it was a chance to celebrate the ideas, people and effectiveness shaping the industry.
Every great awards event should not simply hand out trophies, but create a room where achievement feels shared.
“What can I say? Thank you for your hard work, dedication, energy and inspiration last night. Everyone had a great evening and we’ve had a lot of positive feedback from guests. Thank you for helping us put on a great event! ”
